Enjoy the rest of the interview;

WHAT WAS YOUR BACKGROUND LIKE AS A CHILD?
As a child, my upbringing was filled with joy and laughter. Being the second of three kids, I had an amazing time growing up, thanks to my wonderful parents who played a significant role in shaping my values.

WHAT WERE THE CORE VALUES PASSED UNTO YOU BY THEM?
Honesty and education were two core values they emphasized, along with following a spiritual path.

WAS THERE ANYTIME YOU HAD CONFLICTING IDEAS WITH YOUR PARENTS IN CHOOSING BETWEEN CAREER AND EDUCATION?
Surprisingly, I never faced conflicting ideas with my parents regarding my career choice in acting versus pursuing a good education. I began my acting journey during my first year at the University of Ibadan, where I eagerly pursued theatre arts. My parents have always been supportive of my happiness and growth, as long as my choices don't harm anyone.

ASIDES FROM YOUR PARENTS, WHOM WOULD YOU CLAIM PLAYED A CRUCIAL ROLE INTO WHOM YOU HAVE BECOME TODAY?
Regarding the people who influenced my journey, I believe that everyone I encounter plays a unique role in shaping my life. However, if I have to mention crucial individuals, it would be my parents for bringing me into this world and
giving me the space to be myself, and then myself for putting in the work.

SO WHY DID YOU CHOOSE ACTING. WAS THERE ANY PARTICULAR TRIGGER FOR YOU?
Choosing acting was more of a natural progression for me rather than a specific
trigger. It all began with my involvement in church dramas and later on, auditioning
for a musical in University. While I had initially planned to study law and went ahead to study, my passion for acting eventuallytook the spotlight. I took my
elective courses in school from Theatre Arts.

WHAT DO YOU FEEL IS MORE IMPORTANT. TALENT OR TRAINING?
Both talent and training are equally important to me. Having a talent is a great foundation, but nurturing and developing it through training is essential to excel
and stay relevant in a rapidly changing world.

WHAT TYPE OF ROLES ARE YOU MOST SUITED FOR?
In terms of roles I enjoy playing, I have a soft spot for cheerful characters like "The
Girl Next Door." While portraying happy roles on camera can be challenging, I find
them relatable and personally fulfilling.

HAVING PLAYED SUCH ROLES, WHENEVER YOU GET NEGATIVE REVIEWS, HOW DO YOU HANDLE THEM?
As for negative reviews, I haven't received many critiques on my performances
directly, but I understand that not everyone may appreciate my work, and that's entirely fine. Constructive feedback is valuable for growth, and I embrace it as an opportunity to improve.

WHOM DO YOU CONSIDER AS ROLE MODELS?
Regarding role models, I don't have any specific individuals I try to emulate. However, I highly admire Kehinde Bankole and her talent as an actor, as she serves
as an inspiration to me.

ARE YOU FLEXIBLE ENOUGH TO WORK AS A STAND-IN ACTOR ON SHORT NOTICE?
When it comes to being a stand-in actor on short notice, I find it challenging and depend on the circumstances. While I respect my craft and the preparation it requires, I understand that unexpected situations may arise, making it a 50-50
decision.

WHAT IF YOU WERE TO BE PAID HIGHLY FOR THE JOB?
As for being paid highly for the short notice job, I no longer act solely for financial reasons. Acting is my passion, and I take up projects based on my interest and the value I believe they bring, rather than just monetary compensation.

WHAT WAS YOUR LAST EXPERIENCE ON STAGE LIKE?
While I haven't been on stage recently, I have a performance coming up in August that Iam excited about. My last stage experience involved directing two plays, which was a new and fulfilling challenge for me.

SHARE WITH US ABOUT YOUR LONGEST RUNNING ROLE ON STAGE
One of my most extended running roles on stage was performing every weekend for
three months at Terra Kulture back in 2017.

THE RECEPTION THE GRIOT RECEIVED WAS NOTHING SHORT OF AMAZING. TELL US HOW IT HAPPENED
The reception of my movie "The Griot" was overwhelming and rewarding. The journey from conceiving the idea to getting it on Netflix was a five-year process,
filled with hard work, sleepless nights, and dedication.

WHAT OTHER ACCOMPLISHMENTS OF YOURS ARE YOU HOPING TO PURSUE IN FUTURE?
In the future, I aspire to produce more movies and continue exploring my creativity in filmmaking.

THE GRIOT WAS ON NETFLIX, AN INTERNATIONAL PLATFORM. HOW DID THAT HAPPEN?
Getting "The Griot" on Netflix was a result of making a compelling film, winning
awards at festivals, and creating a unique and engaging story that resonated with
viewers.

WHAT DO YOU CONCEIVE AS YOUR GREATEST ACHIEVEMENT SO FAR?
My greatest achievement so far is simply being alive, but I am also immensely proud of "The Griot" project and how it came to fruition from a simple idea in my one bedroom apartment to a successful film.

SERVING AS A ROLE MODEL TO OTHER ACTORS FINDING A FEET IN THE FILM/TV INDUSTRY, WHAT OTHER OPPORTUNITIES ARE YOU HOPING TO SEE MORE CREATIVES HAVE ACCESS TO?
There are numerous opportunities for creatives, but it's essential to be proactive
and take steps to pursue one's dreams. I encourage more women to step into various roles in the industry, including directing, producing, and cinematography.

THANK YOU FOR BEING OUR GUEST. IF WE PROBABLY CALL YOU NEXT TIME. WILL YOU COME BACK?
Yes, I would be open to coming back for another interview, though interviews are
not something I am entirely used to due to my personality.

A SHOUT-OUT TO YOUR FANS/WELL-WISHERS OUT THERE?
A special shout-out to everyone who has supported my work. Your encouragement
and support mean the world to me. I also want to root for everyone out there pursuing their dreams. It can be tough, but with hard work and dedication, you can
achieve greatness.
